well what would you guys like to see. this was on the aggenda for the last meeting, but since David and I were the only 2 to show up, let me know what you guys want. I also need a larger sized picture of the logo with a white or no background on it to give the people an idea of what it would be, so we can know how much it would cost. It would be great to be able to do this by thurs/fri because im leaving for a week long back packing trip early sat and i would like to get the emails sent out by the time i leave. thanks.

BTW i dont think we'd need the WA with the 4roc logo since our license plate would probably be enough to tell what chpt we are from. Personally i'd like it to look like this, I wouldnt mind grey or white

I like the logo a lot, I think that the Red/Black combo that BBB suggested would be pretty boss.


(yes, I said "boss" - straight revival from the 70's! My 14 year old informed me that the word is back in vogue at his school in Illinois, so I promised him that I would start using it out here so that I can be cool too!)

 

Ive never had one of my idea's called "boss". I like it! Have you looked into sizes yet? My decal will find its place on the rear window being ive got TRD decals coming for the rear fenders.

Colors: Sounds like we want 2 colors but can we all decide on one kind?

Okay, I've been deliquent in my 4ROC duties, but I'm back from vacation, so lets get this "boss" club running full speed again. ~3 X 18 sounds really skinny and long for some reason... I'd agree on leaving the WA part of it, means we can make the 4ROC part of it bigger. I'll work on an image and post it up tonight, and change the .com to .org. I'd vote for black and red being the main colors, its what we've been using all along. Once we've settled on a design, we can run a quick poll looking at a couple different color options. As mentioned above, I'll work on these tonight.

 

sounds good david. once you post the pic thing, i'll send out some emails to try and get a price range. how many do you think we should get made? maybe like 30?

 

Hmmm, probably not that many. It'll depend on the price, and whether we can just make a couple at a time, I'm not going to drop 150 bucks and get stuck with a bunch of stickers...

 

When a design is posted and I see what you guys are thinking and I like it I will send money before you buy any. You shouldnt have to front the cash on this. Definently dont order more than you need. I think ordering them as people say "i want one" is better off. When they see how cool they are going to be they will hop on this gravy train. Who knows how many of the members are regualarly on YT, maybe send out emails with the 4ROC add. . Just my 0.02 pesos

 

yeah im thinking send out an email asking people to re-register for the club and get a count on how many stickers we need.

Here is one version, red letters, black highlight, still needs to be cleaned up a bit before printing, and I need to add the website still:

 

good lookin sticker. get some printed up and let us know how much they are each. you've got about 6-8 sold from NC if they look nice.

 

I would try to find a way to work in the ".org". Maybe as a "shadow" across the bottom edge of the lower right. The point being that it's a subtle hint to go hit up "4roc.org" in a browser and see what comes up.

But, I like it. And, I agree with BBB - once people agree on a design, make us chip in for the cost. There's no reason to have one person front it all.
