hey lumpy, how do you like that 268? are the gains noticable? i'm thinking of getting one, maybe even the 270?
i'm down for a road trip to do some 4wheelin' ... distance is of no concern to me, hell i hammer it down 17hours to Ft.Lauderdale to see mom and dad probably once a month or so

Well when I got it she ran like poo...so I did a bunch at one time but I'd like to thing that the 268 did some good for me. I had to fix the knock sensor, HG and swapped out the intake piping and tossed a cone filter in. So in all that yes I did notice a bit of a difference and I like it.
If you do a bunch of highway you will want to stay with the 268 and not go any lower than the 261. The 261 gives more at lower RPM...

Cohabitate between Philly and Wilmington, DE. I just bought an 1985 toyota pickup, and am getting a 79 FJ40 from CO in the next few weeks. May be a few months before I get either one ready for the trail. The 85 is my current daily driver, but I may be putting it in the garage for cross over/chevies rear/toys up front etc. etc. in a little while.
As for the Jersey wheelin', I used to go to the Port Elizabeth area back in the day. It was better if you had an ATV, but you could still have some fun on the trails. I've seen guys in rigs with 44's get swallowed by the "puddles". Once saw a guy lose his brand new grizzly in the peanut butter. It literally got swallowed up never to be seen again.

I'm just north of Allentown (between the Lehighton and Allentown exits on 476). I'm kinda hoping to make it to EC4RJ also, just got my rear elocker and 4.88's in last weekend - next is the front LSD rebuild and swap the diff into the 4.88 carrier I picked up awhile ago (know anyone who needs 4.56 IFS diffs open/open?)

nice pics.
like i said to LUMPY, I want to go but I'm hoping for the "bunny slopes" at Rausch, not looking to do any damage. mostly just looking forward to meeting up with alot of the people on here and gawk at all the Toyotas....I think that part would be awesome.
i wish Paragon was still around....that would be about 30mins from my house...but they got squeezed out for no damn good reason.

Well, I might as well chime in from Wellsboro!! Is anyone going to set an official time/day for the Rausch get-together? I would be in for a weekend of wheelin' and food/beer!! I may have to keep my 94 just to bring it along for the rough spots!!

I know a person from Wellsboro, do you know a Mr. Bill Miller?
nice Tacoma by the way

I don't think so. I try to avoid town as much as possible. Too much political B.S. and I'm just a hick!! Thanks for the compliment on the Taco. I am still getting to know all of the goodies and I am still awaiting the lift, wheels, and tires. I ordered them last week and they haven't arrived yet. I am getting anxious to get them installed. I hate driving a stock truck!!
