1989 toyota 4ruynner wiring problem
#1
im having a hell of a time here. i own a 1989 toyota 4runner (12/88) about 6 months ago i was having engine mechanical issues requiring major work so i pulled out the 22re and replaced it with a 22r donor motor which i had. the problem with the engine was head gasket related so it ran good except the steam. The 22r had a r151 behind it and tcase so the transmission stayed attached to the engine. i just got the money together required to fix the RE and did so, with a new clutch. now here is the PROBLEM; i had to repin the larger of the two body harneess contectors off the efi curcuit to the 22r's harness and now have reversed all of that. here is my problem the male end has an larger approximately 8ga yellow as well as black wire. 2 identical black with white stripe wires of smaller gauge going to different pins. a brown with black stripe, and a brown with white stripe and is slightly bigger gauge.
a green with yellow strip and a purple wire. a solid small black as well as asolid blue. as seen in the first pic. ihave to connect it to pic2. have tried and keep getting code 41 as well as no start. have cut into the harness and visually confirmed the tps circuit is complete and intack. help please
