Low Range is aware that many companies are manufacturing battery boxes, but there was not one that suited our needs. Most of them had features that we didn't like- leaving our batteries in the hands of nature and not protected and fully supported. The reason why many don't fit correctly is because they are made as a universal fit for a variety of battery types. We focused on the most popular battery for Off Road usage, the Optima 34/78 because of its top and side post battery terminals.

The Optibox was born after being frustrated with the little features that many battery boxes on the market include.
