Sorry guys, I forgot about this thread. Yes, I am now selling custom front bumper designs. I have sold a few, and I have the process down pretty well.

Anyone who is interested, PM me your email address, and I will send you further information about the process.

Thanks!

Would like a set

I'll have to wait to get an order for a set of plans from you, but I really do want some. Wife and kids puts the budget in check.

Most importantly, I'd like to extend my thanks to you for offering up the plans for the fabrication of the parts and the total build on the front bumper.

kudos to you!

BR Custom Front Bumper Design

Actually, resurrection time for this thread.

I'm in works with Bandit Runner himself on plans for a custom front bumper for a 99 4Runner.

Once we finalize the design, I'll start (already started) gathering parts, I hope to be cutting and welding in Q1 2014, will update and post pics as the process goes...

Waterjet Costs

Anybody got a price on getting the material waterjet cut from their local shop?

I would love to tackle this project and think I have the skills, the only think I really don't want to do is cut out all the holes.

Thanks,

Badbob

If I were looking for a place that has a water jet and would cut out the bumper parts I would call around to fabrication shops in the area and ask if they have one or know anywhere that does.

In this economy I'd guess anyone with a piece of equipment like that would be pretty interested in keeping it running if they didn't already have an order to fill. So, you might ask if they are busy, and if the price is a little high for you call again in a couple weeks, and if they aren't so busy maybe look at negotiating for a lower price.
