I built on that goes on the p-side for more room under the hood on my '82. Works great and cost me $0 and a little time. I am buying a high output chevy alt in a couple months to aid charging to offset my winch.

That' great,I'm all for people making stuff themselves..I do...I designed the bracket for people without the tools, ability or time to make one themself.
I have plans to make a passenger mount ,mostly for the buggy guys to make more room for link up travel....I have so many on the list but I have to pick one and finish it
Thanks for the bump

Can't wait to see the finished one for the 3.0!
For those that are running a bunch of lights, winch, stereo, etc... this is a great upgrade over the little stock OEM alternator. The other benefit, since you aren't modding your stock bracket, you just keep your stock brackets, alternator, and belt as a trail spare. Not to mention, if you have no fab skills or tools, this makes it pretty much idiot proof.

No tools and a little bit of time. Ordered one of these from Aaron, had it in just a few days. Quality of workmanship and material is great. Now just need to finangle some $$$ out of my accountant (AKA: WIFE) for an alternator...

$60 is well worth the time it takes to make or modify your own bracket.
GM CS130 style alternators are nearly bolt-in on the 3.0 and 3.4 V6, no extra brackets needed.

High quality 140A rated Powermaster alternators are only about $160 from Summit Racing.

i bought this, and it all fit perfectly. Actually, i think that is my alternator in the pics. bolted it in, hooked up the power, and it's charging @ 14.5. much better than the 180$ yota alternator that keeps losing diodes.
