Yakima/Basket mounting

Well I finally got some money to buy a Roof Rack and a basket. Both are no longer in production I believe. The Yakima Rack isnto a Q Clips but like a SST? And the basket is an unkown model Kargo Master. I got the Yakima portion off ebay for 165 shipped, not bad I thought. All the pieces were in good shape also, When installing a piece binded up and I couldnt unlever it off so I beat it with a hammer and broke it so its being replaced lol. And I got the basket from a friend for 150 bucks and its in good shape also. I dont like the way it looks 100% I was hoping for something different, it sits up kind of tall I think. Let me know what you guys say. (if anyone notices that its off in places I know, this is just a mach up test fit, as I said a parts broken so I cant install it 100% right now) Sorry for pic quality I took the pics at night without much lighting.

Im planning on buying a wind deflector soon, do you think it will smooth it out and maybe not look so oblongly tall? I might try and put skirting on the sides to make up for some of it even.
