I have an XRC8 mounted on my TG bumper so look it up and if they have the same mounting patterns which I would assume the Engo does it should mount up fine

I use a handwinch, fit the budget and has gotten me out. Tends to be a sanity check as well, the thought of all that work helps me pick better lines if im by myself. A hilift could do the same.

well if youre on a budget it makes more sense to buy a quality product one then a slew of terrible ones. not saying badlands are terrible. never had any experience with them, but if it breaks and you have to buy another, you may as well have bought a good one to begin with. id say just put aside a little more money and get a decent winch. not trying to tell you how to live your life though. hope whatever you decide on works out well and if you do get a badlands, use it a couple dozen times or so and write a review of how it holds up.

Seriously - slow down and LOOK for yourself. Find a website or grab the box in the store and read the specs.

*most* winches of this size are all built very similar in specs, and use the exact same standard mounting pattern. Once you get up above 10k in size, some of the winches are physically larger and may not fit in most bumpers or mounts.

General rule of thumb: If it's a 6-9k 12v automotive style winch, it mounts the same and will fit pretty much every winch mount or bumper out there.
