Winch clocking with TJM and M8000

I'm in the middle of the winch install on my 4Runner anf have hit a roadblock.

I know you can clock the clutch part of an M8000 and I have a TJM-T-13 with a nice hole to acess it but no matter what way and how far I clock it the lever is out of reach or obstructed.

What is up? I need a bit of help, did Warn change the lever or what.

Any help would be great, a pic would be worth 1000 words as well.

Thanks!

Don't expect to be able to actually use that hole to get to the winch clutch. In a ideal world of lollipop trees and candy cane streetlights it'd work, but not so much in the real world. Maybe there is a winch that'll fit that hole, but not the M8000.

Just reach under the bumper and adjust it if you need to.

Any second gens out there (or anyone)? I know I can't be the only one with this setup.

Mine fits perfect, Pop the plastic cap and its right there at 12-oclock high.
It was already correct when I got it and installed it.
Mine is 10yrs old already so there may have been a physical change, I do know the bumpers mount differently, When I got mine it was universal minitruck style and is wielded on brackets where the hardpoints used to be. (Im looking to redo those spots soon).
I can do a Macro-picture of the accesshole if you want?

Well, I already installed it clocked at around 5 oclock so it is a done deal.

Me and my friend seriously tried more than half of the positions and the only one that worked was down low.

I think if Warn had a different lever it would have worked but it is just too large for our cramped Toyotas.

A little too late, but mine works well with the lever at the 1 o'clock position when the feet are mounted forward. I can't turn the lever all the way to the unlocked position, but I don't need to. It spools just fine at about 160 degrees. Of course, my bumper is a T-17 as well.
