I have an ARB on my 95 and my front fins hump rocks like a horny racoon. It is really getting annoying, but they have not bent yet. It strikes me that it is more of a good winch platform than a wheeling bumper. Just thought I would throw in another vote to the contrary.

I'll try a small pic but it's not as good of a shot.

It's a weenie shot so you dial up guys can see it too :o)

AP is superior for it's clearance and wheeling, but I don't like the high winch mount. This is mostly because I had to move it up 3" to match with the body lift.

The arb is a good bumper. I had one on my ZJ, they take a lot of abuse.

however i dont want to spend that much $$ on this truck.

The ARBs go for roughly $600 and up, and the style that 89 & Rome have from Badland Bumpers will run you around $550 or so, maybe more with powder coat.

The one from Badland's is very nice, and is up high enough it should not snag on anything.

I have seen that style in person, and it's very nice.

CUSTOM... with a fine rattle can finish, ahem.

wish i had some better pics..... -sigh-

somehow the pics you wish you could take are always when you're driving, or too compromised to stop and get out.

hence, old pictures.

Very nice bumper. That design I'd copyright and market!

Did you make this yourself? I might be interesting in having one done for me? It would go along with the same tube styles that I am using but the lower winch mount is much superior to my AP bumper.

The rest of the rig is sweet to, but where are the trail pics?

i haven't gone out with any other wheelers. all my runs have been alone, and like i said in the last post, when i think about taking a picture, i'm way too compromised to get out and snap it. My e-brake has been broken for about, umm.... a year. haha

that makes it pretty difficult to get those sweet pics. and the only chance i get with my work schedule is to go at night.

the bumper was made by Gabe at Aggressive in Silvana.

He's a great guy, and he really cares about his work.

I have a buddy in our club that's a cop "Scott475:. He has some similar problems getting out wheeling in that he works most weekends. He's on Yotatech so if you wanna send him a message, you may be able to hook up. Scotts running a 91 pickup with 7" of lift, locked rear, LSD front.

I bent it pretty easily on a pull last year. Since then I beefed it up but its still not right.

I have a custom Warn Bull Bar for my 8000i, it has not failed me yet. I just posted on the subject in 4runners & trucks/off road/other forums.
You can go to the www link to see the bull bar.

I am running a custom prerunner style setup similar to anondron's, but with a Warn X8000i on a reciever which can be put on the rear as well. I went the custom route because it is really hard to find a winch bumper for a T-100, and decided to use a reciever, which although is probably weaker than a bolt mounted setup, allows me to keep my winch out of the elements, mount it on the rear when I need to, and keep it hidden when I am parked on the street.
