Where can I get a BL Kit in So Cal?

Hey everyone!

Anyone have a clue on where I can pick up a 2" kit and for a reasonable price. I'd like to do this install by this Saturday. My buddy and I are going to attempt to do this with the help and guidance of previous threads.

Unless of course there's someone here that wants to help a fellow Yotatech guy... ANYONE? PLEASE?! I've spent the last 2 weeks reading, and reading about doing the lift, but I'm sure it'll turn out better with some experienced supervising. lol.

I live in Diamond bar and there's cold brew and food for anyone that wants to join in the fun.

Oh by the way, I have seen the vendor sources on previous threads, although I wanted to also ask what you all think of the kit they sell on Ebay. Guess I'm just trying to find out what the difference is between all of them.

Ebay link Here...

Thanks in advance everyone!

you may still be able to get a lift ordered early today by calling the two most cited sources on the board and get it shipped to you by friday.. maybe... try it though if nothing else shows up

no one has mentioned 4crawler.com yet? shame shame.

body lifts are super mega easy. but then again, i've done a few. if it were me, i'd just have the peace of mind by ordering a proven body lift, from 4crawler. if you could make it out to santa clarita i'd help you out, but the tips and threads on it should get ya going.

IMO, that eBay kit looks like garbage compared to what 4Crawler (Roger Brown) sells. I honestly wouldn't pay half that price. It uses nylon, RB uses polyurethane. 4crawler also has all the parts you need and wont try selling you a bunch of extra crap you don't need. He also provides customer support. He even lives in CA so you'd probably have your kit in a day or two.

Since you have a 1st gen, I'd recommend buying new poly body mount bushings too....which 4cralwer also sells.

Actually, I've been on his site for hours just reading all of his articles. To say the least, he sounds like he knows what he's doing. I'll contact him tomorrow and will talk to him about ordering the parts.

THANKS!

Man, I'd help if I didn't have so many honey-do's. I need to install a new floor joist this weekend among a few other exciting tasks. I must say, I'm very proud of the block wall I built last weekend. Nothing like a baby on the way to get you motivated!!

I did my 1" Roger Brown lift by myself using a floor jack and pieces of 4" x 4". It went very smoothly. Make sure you soak all the bolts/nuts in PB Blaster or equivalent. A coupe of mine were a bear to get loose. I only muttered a little trying to get the holes lined up for the bolts to drop through for the bed on the right side after things shifted a bit. It would have helped to have a couple extra hands at that point. I'll be around if you have questions.

Snorkeldepth - Hey no worries... I got my own list of honey-do's myself. You're not the only one expecting... lol.. we're expecting this October.. woohoo!!! So I have to clear out the guest room instead to make room for my son.

Speaking of block walls, that's on my list as well. Damn dog keeps jumping over my backyard wall, so I have to extend it up so the dog stops eating the neighbors cats. lol.

Anyway, I emailed Roger and I don't think I stand a chance getting the kit by this Friday. I figured I'd just order it and save it for next weekend instead. Oh well...

In case anyone is interested in supervising next weekend, I'll be more than happy to accomodate!

THANKS ALL!!!!!
