lol yes, thats a given, i was just wondering in terms of physical things. straps seem to be a very good investment.

as far as a come-a-long goes, is it a normal chain link fence one or a more heavy duty one?

a high lift is nice (as long as you repect its hidden agenda......which is your domise)

I never liked using comealongs, as it is you are testing the outer limits of its capacity, and then to make it worst you are forced to be directly in the path of the cable because of the short little handle. But ive never broke one.

I would suggest a subscription to a good 4x4 magazine of your choice as this topic is covered in almost every subscription I get at least once a year in some form or fashion.

Depending on where you live you find find them at a decent price. Tacoma Screw, in the NW, has them a lot cheaper than offroad stores. It beacuse they are used for work not play. But it seems that, shipping aside, everything is cheaper online.
