what are your gear brand preferences?

i am getting 33" tires soon and am in need of some gears. i have settled on 4.88's but i dont know the brands, if one is better then the other etc. i am on a relitivly small budget and need to conserve the cash money if possible but still want the quality. tell me the brand of gears you have. like em hate em, where you got em andhow much it took out of your wallet. thanks for the help

Mine are stock toyota 4.88's, so I cant help, but i can say that with 33's they work great. I called Randy's Ring and pinion for something a while ago and they were total d1ckheads.

i believe if you want to run the stock toy 4.88's you have to use the 4.88 3rd member, because they were different then the other ratios, aftermarket stuff, my preference is Yukon, which, sometimes is a re boxed US gear
