What Tire Size?
Having been told they would fit with no problem, I ordered some Firestone Destination M/T's for my 2003 Tacoma. I got the 265/75 R16 and boy were they wrong. I can't make sharp turns or go up speed bumps w/o the tires taking off my mud guards. I wanted a tire that would look good as well as handle my hunting needs w/o having to get a lift. What smaller size M/T would be best for this truck and is there anything I can do to alleviate the problem(s) I'm having now w/o spending a bundle? Thanks.

Weird.
My buddy has a 2003 Tacoma Xtra cab 4x4 V6 with the TRD Offroad package. Comes stock with 265/70/16 BFG Rugged trails. He switched those to 265/75/16 BFG A/T KO's and they fit fine. He hasn't checked, although he suspects the *might* rub when he has the wheel turned all the way, but generally speaking the slightly larger than stock tires have not been an issue at all. Maybe your tires, being a different brand have a bigger size perhaps?
I think the 265/75/16's works out to like 31.7" or something.
