I am running a built 22R with 36" tsl's. I heve 4.56s right now, what gear to you think i should go with. a 5.29 or 5.71? I do alot of trail ridin and mud ridin, minor rock crawlin, but i dont drive it on road, just wanting a few suggestions? Still running the stock t case too.

5.71 - 'cuz you know you're gonna go 37's or bigger when these tires are done!

 

If you don't drive it on the road just go with 5.71's. I have 5.29's with my 34" TSLs and I don't think it has enough power. I think I will go bigger as well.

 

Especially IF you do drive it on the road... if it's a trail only rig, just leave the diffs and do tcases - it's a lot cheaper.

 

I hear 5.71s are pretty week don't know how true that is but 5.29 should be good even if you go a little bigger i would stick with 5.29.
