weight on fj80 coils
im lookin at buy some fj80 coils(used) from aw100 on here and i have two questions bout them
will they give me 3.5" of lift in the rear?
i have two 12" subs in the back and they are in two heavy long ported boxes will they make the coils go down any and not get a 3.5" lift out of rear?
for the front im gonna get 1.5" bj spacers and crank tbars a lil and get manual hubs and pan hard drop bracket.
does all this sound good?
also i been look for manual hubs online and all i can find are some warn hubs that are like $150 is there any where else i can get manual hubs?
thanks

The lift you get out of the FJ-80 coils will be whatever you get. Depends on the weight in the back of your rig, the spring rate of the coils and how much use they have seen. Look for used Aisin hubs on-line at http://www.ebay.com/ or http://www.car-part.com/ or http://www.yotayard.com/ or heck even http://www.taprecycling.com/

are there any other ways to lift the rear 3.5"? b/c i got the front with 1.5" bj spacer and then i was gonna just crank t-bars up a lil to make it even with rear....or is there a better way to lift the front as well?

Your best option is put the coils in and see what you end up with, lift-wise. Then since you are cranking up the front to match the back, do so and you will be fine. Who cares if you get 2.936" or 3.497" of lift, you set the front to match the back. It is not like there are lift police running around checking your truck and if it is not exactly 3.5" taller than stock, they are going to write you up!
I do not think there is any way you are going to get 3.5" out of the front end with the spacers and the torsion bars, at least something useable, but you are welcome to try. So if the rear comes in a little under 3.5", that is a good thing, your front suspension will thank you!

You don't "need" 3.5" of lift to fit those tires, especially in back. 2" - 3" is plenty. Here is a writeup on a 2nd gen 4Runner w/ a very low lift running that size tire:
