Trying to get a softer ride, 63 inch swap, RUF?
Hey guys, I used to have an account here a few years ago but forgot my email and password so I just made a new one.
I have an 85 SFA truck that I can't even drive anymore because of how rough it is, the front springs have no arch in them and I tried replacing all the shocks.
My idea is to simply run the 63s in the rear with little to no lift, I don't wanna lift the truck as it's running on 29s and I don't wanna go any bigger as it becomes a lugging pig with unusable 5th gear and I don't have money to regear.
Now with 63s in the back, what can I run in the front that will give little lift and improve the ride? I also don't wanna move the axle forward at all for aesthetic reasons, I wanna keep the truck looking stock, just want a softer ride and more articulation than stock.
I was thinking of RUF but I'm not sure it's a good idea with moving the axle forward and having to run histeer, with that much lift it will look goofy on 29s I think, maybe not?
Any input is appreciated, thanks.
