Toyota solid axle front brake conversion problems

Ok I'm sure I'm missing something stupid. There's no clearance between rotors and caliper. No one mentions having to clearance inside of caliper or machine down mounting ear. Am I doing this wrong and should be using Tacoma rotors?

80 p/u solid front axle
fj rotors redrilled
ifs hubs
v6 ifs calipers

FJ rotors, what year?

I’ve been running -80 series rotors for years clears just not much extra room.

I don't remember what year but they were 80 series rotors I'm pretty sure. It clears but it's super tight like maybe .005 clearance. I think I'm just gonna machine like .060 of the caliper ears so it centers the caliper better

Something looks off with setup. Been a couple 5 yrs since I last rebuilt mine. But something between wheel hub and rotor.
