86 P/U propane swap

I have a 1986 sas pickup, 22r , I'm looking into propane swapping it when I'm done rebuilding the engine. Does anybody have a link or know where I can purchase a tank? And is there any added benefits to running propane over staying with gas?

One of the main benefits of propane over carbed gasoline is improved engine performance and throttle control while operating off camber, and at high angles.

Carbs are not so happy sloshing around while tipping every which way. Neither EFI or propane are near so finicky..

so I was told I'd have to build the engine to specifically run on propane, like different valves, pistons etc. is that true?

I really haven't followed propane engine builds, but every one I have seen were purpose-built for propane, with different pistons and other parts.
