You need a winch specific bumper to mount a winch not a brush guard...

They make winch bumpers that look like brush guards but it has to have a winch mounting plate on it...you can't take a regular brush guard and put a winch on it.

Check out marlincrawler.com or allpro.com or any of the rock crawling companies and you can pick up a badass winch bumper for like $400

You have to order one from overseas or Across the border. they came factory on the 90-95 4runner/surf and hilux. either from the UK, Canada or Japan. there are two kinds, the full bush bar or just a bull bar or "A" bar. the "A" bar has TOYOTA on the front and holes for fog lights where as the full bush bar has HILUX and TOYOTA on the front with holes for the factory fog lights.

Look at my advatar, i have a brush guard from when i bought it.

It says toyota on it. in a little section on the main bar.

I hate it. Its stupid, the PO, took the tow hooks off to put it on.

It moves, its not sturdy, i hate it. The only thing that holds it on is a whopping 4 bolts

There is NO WAY you could used a winch on it, it flexes when you pull on it.
