tire questions

hey guys i have some cooper ATRs 31x10.5 on my 98 4runner and i am lookin to go wider

before you say dont get wider tires your milage will worsen save it i already understand that i will get a tad less milage that being said here is what i am asking

should i go with
maxis buckshot 32x11.5s?
or bfg AT KOs 31x12.5?

what do you think would be better as an DD, however i spend every weekend off road

thanks guys
p.s. i have no lift, however both my diffs are locked... i am open to other brand of tires

buckshot's are a great set of tires, even tho their not real popular, they handle great on the road quiet and smooth for a mud tire. I would suggest a radial mud tire, they'll handle good on/off road. JMO

12.50's might rub. I just recently got bfg alterains ko's in a 32X11.50 and they are real quite and perform great off road. They only rub when you are in full turn and hit a bump (going up the driveway curb). other than that no rubbing.

Good luck!

everybody is gonna have a different opinon on tires, get what you want not what everybody says they like. Its like asking a group of gays pink or purple lol. If you want a mud tire get it, If you want a AT then get it! The more aggresive the tire the worse it will be on the road. Heck I have swampers on everything i have. Road characteristics is the last of my worrys lol. Good Luck

gotcha, bfg's are a good tire dont get me wrong, they just dont do enough for what i ask out of a tire. I had a set of 31x11.50 swamper ltbs on 10 inch wide rim and that lil truck would walk the dog for what it was. You'll sacrifice ride quality but you'll have some pullin @ss tires. Plus girls love a tire that roars haha
