ok i made a flatbed for my 1988 toyota pickup and i used the lights off the bed and i mounted on the new bed and every time i hit the brakes it pops the fuse to it does anyone got an idea why it is doing this?

 

you have a short. trace your wires, perticularly the hot lead of the break bulb/filiment.

 

like 4rnr said, trace your wires, make sure they are not stripped anywhere and rubing on metal/frame/themselves.

and i know i had a towing plug thing on there and i took that off and my blinks and stuff would not work with that out on they worked but they just blink like the left side of my cab only nothing else so yea...
