TC front spacer?

Buddy of mine traded his TC spacers from the 3" kit for my fender flares. How much lift do those actually give you? Enough to run 33's? I was going to get the 3" rear kit from all-pro...what will the difference be, if any? 99 taco...

Still saving up for CO's. I might as well get what I can on now and then put on the CO's later.

Thanks guys

Does it go in between the spring and the tophat? (bad) Or between the tophat and the coil bucket? (better)

How thick is it? (should be like 1.5", maybe less)

With 3" of lift, you can rub 33x10.50 with minimal issues. Will need wheels with less backspacing or wheel spacers to keep your turning radius though (tire will hit the frame). You want to keep this to the bare minimum - much better to hit the frame than the fenders. Fenders rip off ... the frame doesn't.

It measures 1-5/16" (close enough to 1.5")

This bolts on top of the coilovers between the bucket. This is a temp set up for now until I save some more for some coilovers to get a true 3". I have stock wheels with 4" backspacing. IF this all fails then I'll have to wait longer for CO's. A little more info on the 3" kit...it was a 1" AAL and 2" block for rear setup obviously.

This is when my friend had it in:

Since it is ~1.5" and the coil/shock is ~half way out on the LCA then you will get ~3" of lift.

Now since it is bolted to the top of the coil/shock combo it will allow more droop, ~3" at the wheel. This can cause CV bind on droop which, I believe is the truth, can cause CV breakage.

Taller coils will move the usable suspension travel toward the max droop but will not droop beyond the stock design.

I have heard it before, but a local ttora member told me that he has never broken a CV and been on so many trails. So I am taking my chance for now. Thank you for you input!

His rig/CV's may not bind, yours might - you need to check.

Jack the truck up by the frame so the suspension goes to full droop. If you have manual hubs, lock them. Rotate the tire. If the CV is binding, you will feel it.
