Suspension Upgrade

Hello everyone,

Let me start off by saying that I am not the most mechanically inclined. I know some things, but not nearly enough for upgrading or modifying things. With that being said, I have a 1990 4Runner 4wd 3.0L. I'm looking to upgrade my suspension. I took it out on the beach the other day and realized that while it is decent, it can do much better. What are some suggestions as to what I can do? What parts do I need for a complete upgrade and what are some of the best quality products? Thanks guys!

Welcome to the forum!

Check this thread out, lots of information. Look into IFS lift faq.

Head on over to the build up section and see what other people are doing.

Basically, there are a million ways to lift a toyota, but you need to do it to suit your needs and your driving style.
