ss 1.1 needed mods?

On the sonoran steel website it says that with this lift you should at least add a rear bumper. But that is something I would like to do a little later down the road. Is all this body aromor needed to acomidate the lift or is it a suggestion so that you are better protected due to the new cappabilities of the truck. I did use the search button and didn't seem to find anything on this and I hope I posted this in the correct place.

I might be wrong, but I think it says that because the weight of an aftermarket bumper will cause the suspension to sag to the posted lift height. Without the bumper, you will get more lift than advertised - and more isn't always better.

Yeah, that dose make sense. If they didn't put the extra height in there to componsate for the bumper it would cause your suspension to sag once you added those things. I guess I'll be adding at least the rear bumper.
