There are better trails that will be worth your time, not that this one would be bad by any means though. There are a couple others in that area as well that are cool (read: Medano, Hermit and Hayden Passes). I haven't forgotten about your trip out yet.

Yeah what he said. Skip it unless you want to hike the area and/or meet a pissed off goat. I never saw the goat BTW.

I just sent this info to my buddy. Him and his wife live in cotopaxi (texas creek), which is 20 minutes from westcliffe. I was just down their the past weekend taking the 4runner for a spin up on some trails. I totally forget where we went, but its right outside of westcliffe right by the closed ski resort. It wasn't very challenging but very fun... got above tree line
