Snorkel for CARB motor?
#2
i made a snorkel for a carbed motor on an old mazda pickup i had. There was a case around the air filter that fitted inbetween it and the carb, it was one of the ones with the wing-nut that tightens the whole top down. I used that then attacked PVC pipe to the end of the intake tube, drilled a hole in the side of the fender and engine bay and out it went. but that was a royally trail-trashed truck. though if you dont care about looks and you want the performance, PVC pipe snorkel with a couble 90 or 45 degree L fittings and a little heating and bending. Then use a K&N and a hose clamp to attach it to the top.
