Skid Plate ?/Idea
I have a modified BudBuilt t case crossmember on my 92 truck. It is modified to work with my factory auto trans. It has a 1 inch drivetrain lift on it, to match 1 inch body lift. My idea is to use some 3/16 plate to go from the t case cross member all the way to the front bumper. This will cover my very exposed auto trans pan as well as front diff area. It will be tied to the t case crossmember, the IFS frame brace and the front bumber. It will end up being about 7 feet of stock then bent to fit. I have all the tools and knowledge to do this project. My question is what am I missing in my plan? I know it will be heavy and long but other that that what do you think?

It's Done

Had to use 2 sections, too long to fit in my brake. Used 1/8 inch stiffined on side with 1 inch angle. It fits just like I wanted.I came off a rock on Sunday and landed hard on it, no damage
