I have several fuse circuit shorting out and tail light fuse popping very time I turn on tail lamps please help what to check.

 

look for major damage to the wiring harness.

Also a list of what other circuits that are open would give us a better idea just where to look.

It just might be a big help to tell just what your working on.

 

Sorry 83 toyota pickup just drop overhauled engine. I'm having a circuit short also the four lower circuits on the bottom row of the fuse panel. I have a power probe ect 2000 but it just keeps sending me to the grounds evrywhere. I'm planning today to unplug the incandescent bulbs and unplug the red wire from the battery and see if that helps.

 

I have checked all the harness looks good and all the light wiring.

 

Please try to help me gentleman as I need this truck asap for work and trying to figure this out. If maybe someone can give me a clue on how to use the ect 2000 and isolate the red and black wires so that it doesn't pick up both of them and just tells me to go in one direction.
