shocks hitting new springs

hey guys

I just threw in a 4 inch lift with new shocks , adjustable upper control arms, panhard drop bracket, stainless brake line, etc. the shocks are ranchos with eyes at both ends so I used the eye to pin bracket. but now the shocks (mainly the passenger side) rub on the springs because I made the upper control arms about 1" longer than stock.... can I just drill a new upper mount hole and move the upper shock bracket back like 1" or something? or maybe move the upper mounts toward the center of the truck? any ideas would be awesome

It would help if you'd let us know what year and type of vehicle you have (most likely a gen I or gen II 4Runner), don't you think ??

I made the upper control arms about 1" longer than stock....
Why ???

You do realize, don't you, that you've, effectively, made the shocks about 1" longer and you really need to check and make sure that you aren't overcompressing (bottoming out) your shocks at full stuff.

any ideas would be awesome

Set the UCA's back to stock length, without a really good reason for lengthening them in the first place.
