Great.

I have seen them on a lot of peoples shop trucks who were "facilitated" in using them. I mean to say Joez is the first public guy I was aware of.

PSC had them on their UA truck, and Allieds on the other.

Isaac, just got your message, the next free time to chat is tomorrow, I will ring then.

The only thing you don't get with Stauns is the fat lip.

I have hammered the snot out of my OMF's and would not trade that huge reinforced lip for anything.

No, you dont, and I thought that would be a huge downside, but i have found that the staun actually help keep me from landing hard on the lip of the wheel. I am by no means saying that it is a replacement for the added rim protection of a conventional beadlock, but i was suprised to find that it is harder to land on the rim. Now, i do still grind them up on the rocks, and that is taking its toll on the rims, but at least they haven't cracked yet. I know i will still need replacements eventually, but i am not destroying them quite as fast as i thought i was going to.

I am still toying with the idea of welding a reinforcing ring to my next set of wheels, as soon as i collect enough from the junkyard. Mainly it is to protect the valvestem, as that is something else you do not get with the stauns.
