Mick -

Already have the OME front coils. The problem is the cup is welded on down on the stock strut. Are they any other options besides ordering OME shock/struts?

Thanks

I am confused. I think I need a picture. This doesn't make sense.

Compare this to what you have then reply back with what is wrong

Chas:

I didn't know you were using the stock shock. They cant screw that up because it is welded on.

Its recommended that you use the OME front shock with the lift coils because it is a lot longer than the stock one.

You could also use some bilstiens if you want.

Hey guys -

I'm going to go ahead and order some OMEs shocks for the front...Which part # would go well with the 880 coil springs? I am running 890's in the back so I'm hoping to level out the dragster look when I install the shocks.

Anyone running 880s in the front and 890s in the back? Any sag in the front? Did you have to add a spacer in the front?

Thanks - Hopefully I will get it right this time

Old Man Emu HD N91S firm front shocks

IIRC, you will still need to either add a 1" inside the pack spacer or add at least 1 top out spacer to make it level (probably 2).

UPDATE - I installed the OME880s with 5MM trim packers and N91SC's. The truck still sits a good 1-1.5 inches higher in the back. I'm gonna stick my boat the back a few nights. Hopefully it will settle out some. I didn't go with spacers this time, but that may be an option. I do some traveling and didn't want a harsh ride.

Question...Would the TRD Tundra coils give you a 1.5 inch lift? I may should've gone with that. I still need to order shocks for the back. However, I'm not going with OME, most likely Bilsteins BE5-2451's

actually, you should get the OME shocks for the back and the tundra coils + spacers for the front and you'll sit level.
