Talking New Inclinometer/Dash Pad & Cover

So today i bought a inclinometer, passenger side of dash without cracks, and a dash cover for $30!

my question is how to use the altimeter guage. do you set your current alt. and then it increases? or set it to zero to see the net change?

also, i need one of the small twist knobs for the "lock" post if anyone has one.

Cool, I'm going to get one of those too, it's already in the 88 4runner that I'm going to buy as soon as my car sells, are they accurate?

You set it to match your current elevation, then it'll read the elevation you are at if you drive higher or lower. It will change with barometric pressure, so you may need to readjust it periodically as the weather changes.

nice score man. my friend had a 87 with the alti/incl meters in it, it was pretty cool to see how much of an angle we could get it to lol.

I know this is an old thread but wtf????? That is such a good deal! This coming from someone who has been looking for a pristine dash pad for a long time and finally gave in and paid good money for one. And you got the inclinometer and dash cover as well?

The irony is that I found this thread looking for a dash cover to cover my pristine dash pad so that it never sees the light of day!

This thread is pretty much 10 years old. That's a lot more aging for plastic parts going from 20 years old to 30 years old. Also, parts become a lot rarer. Junkyards are full of 10-20 year old cars. There are not too many 30 year old cars in the junkyards.

That's true, I guess I'm still not used to how scarce some parts are now compared to 2009 when I had my last 4runner. But dashpad and inclinometer was a really good deal even back then.
