BFG will be coming out with those as their new MT design in 08' with sizes ranging from 28" to 42" in every popular rim size. Can't wait for my 33's to wear out so i can get some 35's of these new ones when they come out hahaha

Not long ago there was a post on here regarding the new BFG mud terrain, including sizes that will be offered first in Sept 07 (estimated)...and other info. I would look up that post...

IIRC - one 16" tire will be offered in Sept, no 15"'s and the rest 17's...mainly 33-42" tires.

maybe im missing something.....but how can a 36" tall tire with a 22" hole in the middle weigh 78lbs?!?! escpecially when my 36 1250 15 tsl sx weigh 76lbs. And the sx is (i beleive) the heaviest tire design you can buy.

Doubt it though. The sx does have a good amount of steel in them. Also the SX is known for having the absolute strongest sidewall, while the bfg (I loved my old ones) is known for a fairly weak sidewall.

Oh well I just cant see it.

If that's true I bet it's a pain to balance having all that weight on the outside circumference. Although, BFG has always been good about coming fairly well balanced compared to other tires.

I like the extra siping in the tread blocks. I'm assuming that the rubber will be more like the MT's and not the Crawler line.

Nope, that is the new tire. Petersons just had a spy shot out adn apparently latked to teh guys at BFG. THe new Tire called the MT KM2 is a cross between the Crawler and the MTkm. There will supposedly be a very large size range, and the tire's primary concern was burability of the side wall and traction.

I've seen a couple reviews on colorado4x4.org - they seem kinda mixed. I think we'll have to wait until people put some real miles on them. Sounds like people like them better than the older KM's anyway.

When are "normal" sizes coming out?
