haha.. I posted this after superbleeder (I think) showed me..
it has one axle mounted in the center of the rig, then has chains going out the the swing arm mounted hubs. the swing arms are cantelivered to a spring and dual shocks with a hydro ram as an adjustable link.. extend the link and the rig rises..

I will not shoot it down because it is an incredible bit of engineering that i could never come near creating but im afraid it's just not my style. I don't know if anyone will understand what im trying to say but i four wheel for the challenge. that truck would make a lot of things that are hard for a normal rig effortless, and what is four wheeling without a challenge? I can't see ever driving something like that just because it doesn't really look fun to me, but props for the insane build

i get what you mean, im usually the one pulling people out though haha im the only one in my group with gears or lockers and i have the biggest tire, i guess you just take what i said to the extreme.

yeah, i know excactly what you mean, thats why im not to big of fan for lift kits and such, if it makes off road driving as easy as on road driving, whats the point? the fun part is when your starting to get stuck, and you try your best to keep it moving by fiddlin with the accelerator and moving the steering wheel and stuff. then pullin out a stuck vehicle is a whole other story of fun...for the record, does anyone else thing pullin out a stuck vehicle is fun??
well, theoretically if a well equipped truck makes challenging off-roading easy, then it must make impossible off-roading CHALLENGING!
i wish i could get youtube here. i'll have to check it out when i go home.
thanx for the repost tho, i've never seen it.

lol the wheeling around here isnt too serious, regular trucks have a problem without lockers, but the yota doesnt seem to struggle, it only lacks at pulling people out. but long story short, its the challange of off roading that makes it fun, 8 inch lift and 38's are only fun if your going through some DEEP ruts, not if your splashing through puddles in a corn feild. and its no fun to run 31's and no lift if you keep getting stuck every 10 feet. i guess you have to build your rig for what your driving in. that awesome chain machine thing wouldnt be fun where i go wheeling, but it would be awesome in the lousiana swamp (lik swamp loggers swamp)where no other trucks would make it. nonetheless that thing is awesome
