Question mixed up lift kit

I was told that you could move the rear springs to the front and put the rear springs off of some model jeep wagon on to 1st gen. toyota 4runners and that would raise them 5" and would really flex. I was wondering if there was any truth to that? If anybody knows share the facts with me. Thanks

Sorta right, anything is possible but it'll take some work to do that:

You can move the rear springs to the front, you'll need at least 2 sets of them to support the heavier front end (6-7 leaves), they do flex very well. Lots of potions out pack, Waggy springs, Chevy springs, Mazda springs, I went with Alcan custom springs. Try the Pirate4x4.com Toyota forum FAQ for all the details on spring swaps.
