I've found a new in box, possibly older, Warn M8000 winch, but when I get the P/N's from the misc. boxes from seller, they do not match or cross reference with that model on Warn website. He says he got it about 3-4 yrs ago. Anyone help me with determining how old this M8000 is with these #'s? He says it has 5/16" cable and that seems right. Price is 400.00w/roller fairlead. Seems fair if it's not too old, I guess.
Any help will be much appreciated!!

See if you can get a number off the winch itself (beware of knockoffs) - then call WArn.
