Looking for recovery gear package...

OK, so I need to pick up a basic recovery gear package and have been looking at this one: http://www.4wheelparts.com/4wp/packa...ParentPacID=80

What do you think? Can I do better for the price?

Would I be better off shopping around and piecing one together?

Thanks.

I'd take a look at http://www.okoffroad.com/stuff-recovery.htm as well. They seem to have good stuff and people on the TTOR board have reported good business with them. They have some good kits, not too cheap but great quality. And you can also order stuff from them seperatly.

So, I called to see if they had the kit I mentioned in stock at the Phoenix store. They have 2 in stock but at $140 each! I told them about the one I found online and they said that they couldnt honor that price even though its the same kit.

I have a $25 gift certificate I won through the AZ Land Cruisers Association raffle but they wont honor it online, apparently its only good in the stores.

Lame

I'd call corporate and complain. I've had this sheit done to me as well. I ordered staun's over the phone at my local 4WP and they tried to charge me over $100 for them. I told them that they were way cheap online and they went behind the computer and said, "no, we see them for $xxx". I told them that I had JUST looked online and they were $yyy. I asked if I could look at their webpage there in the store and they said no. I went home, printed out the page and went back to the store and talked to the manager. I didn't buy them, even when he offered some extra stuff to me. I called corporate and put in a complaint about the store.

Oh yeah, I HATE 4WP.

I don't know why people expect to get good service from 4wp. I just don't understand why people continue to shop there...

UPDATE: I called and bitched and they agreed that if I sent them the gift certificate with a money order that they'd accept it. Apparently there's free shipping but also a $10.00 handling fee?? WTF is that all about?

So with my $25 gift certificate that means $75 to my door. If I pick this up, is there anything else I should consider in addition to what the kit already comes with?

I called them a while back to weld sliders on, they wanted something like 200 just to weld them.
