Locking Rear Questions

I am looking to buy an older (1990-1995) tacoma or frontier that is a 2wd 4cyl, but I would like to have some fun with it, so i would like to have a locking rear differential put on it. Are there any aftermarket/stock kits or parts that I can acquire to complete this job? is it at all possible?

its very possible... there are a lot of differences though so its differnt to say what exactly you will need without haveing the vehciles.... as far as the toyotas go, the 4x2s came equipped with a 7.5" rear end or an 8" rear end (more rare on the 4x2)

many companies make lockers... i am going to get a lunchbox locker for my truck as soon as $ allows....
