Liftkit question
Alright, I'm planning to put 285/75 R16's on my truck and i was wondering if i should go with the 2.5"/2" cornfed lift from Burtman Industries or if i should go with the Daystar 2.5" complete lift? I figured i'd get some other peoples opinions.

Look into the sonoran steel kits. They use toyota parts, and from what I've heard they rock. www.sonoransteel.com Steve answered my questions about the kits quickly and clearly. Never heard a bad thing about them. I'm saving for the system#1. Steve the owner is a member here too.

Run a search, there is a TON of info on 285's on well.. you didnt list what your truck is???
That being said... if you wheel it you will probally need a 1" BL in addition to the 2.5" kit so the rubber doesnt rub. The thing with the sytle lift you are looking at is that it doesnt really provided any more room for tires. The suspension still cycles in its original arc, so upon compression you are in the same spot you are prelift, therfore you have no room for extra tires. When you search you will see that most people do run a spring lift, better offroad performance and higher ride height, and a BL for clearance.
