Lift springs installed, Driveline question

Ok I have a tuff country 3.5" all spring lift im putting on my '84. It says it fits '79-84. I already have the back put on so Im good there. But im haveing trouble with the front. The front 3.5 inch springs are 2 inches shorter than the factory ones. And its acting like i need an extended drive line but i thought you didnt have to unless you went higher than a 4 inch lift. Also it is acting like its setting my front end forword. Im stuck and dont know what to do thanks for any help.

If you have a welder you can make your front drive shaft out of trailer hitch square tubing, it is strong and cheap.

I was gonna suggest turning the springs around.....

But yes, they are supposed to move the axle forward. And with that, you will need a new and/or lengthened driveline. Most shops can extend a driveline for about the same cost as building a new one, give or take.
