Landcruiser e-locker swap anyone?
I tried searching and didn't find much. Has anyone put the front e locker from an fj 80 into their rig? Also has anyone used the fj 80 axle for an sas? Just curious. Thanks.

Not too difficult but its not a beginners job
You need to flip the axle from right to left. First cut and rotate the Birfield bells 180, cut off the dif cap and weld it on so the ring gear is on the correct side, redrill & tap 4 holes to bolt in the 3rd, & cut a new slot for the ring gear to fit through.
Its a fairly quick job if the axle is out and empty, say 3-4 hours and the result is way better than an '85 axle. The FJ80 Birfields are twice the strength of the mini trucks...

You will want the knuckle and hi steer. They are a new product and since they were not around until last month very few did this conversion. The Knuckle and high steer set is available from Hellfire Fab and Us. It makes an FJ80 axle the one you want...
