its official, IFS has got to go!

well, went to the alignment shop today and found that all the IFS stuff is so bent up, it can no longer be aligned within spec. its only minorly out of spec on each side, but i dont see it getting any better.

so ill have to take it easy off road, and im going to get a MC 4.7 gearset so i dont have to bounce over everything so fast in hopes of making the IFS live till next summer.

already got an axle for $45 at a local JY!

I feel your pain this weekend wheeling with the FJ60's I bent 1 tierod and thrashed another idle arm. The cruiser guys were like hey why are your front tires bowing in when you are climbing hills.....

I was thinking yes I know it normal when IFS busts.
I really need a solid axle....

The funny part is I didn't try to trash the stuff it just happens everytime I rock crawl with it My IFS can't handle it.

Anyways I was told I could have a 85 Toy axle for $100.

any year axle is fine, just truss the top of it if it's an earlier model. on the upside, you can run round u-bolts on them
