Installed RB 2" BL (pics)

I just installed this lift yesterday, overall it was pretty easy! The hardest part I had to adjust was the shifter. I had to move the inner rubber boot back a bit and that sloved the problem. I also wired up some cheap backup lights from walmart. I ran a relay with this setup and it took me a while to wire it up nicely through the body! Alright heres some pics!

I got it from here, under paints and finishes! It's called Niteshades! It's pretty easy to do!! You just got to remove the lights from the car and paint them, let them dry and reinstall!!!

Looks nice! I have an RB 1" kit and new urethane body mounts ready to go on my truck. Which method did you use to raise the body? I was thinking a floor jack a piece of 4x4.

Very nice. I really like your runner. How well do the lights show through after you applied the Niteshades spray? On Summit it says that they look normal with the lights on. Just wondering how well they really showed up. I like the matte look though.

Thanks guys!! I used a 3.5 ton jack with some 2x4's but 4x4's would of been easier! Yea at night they really look normal!! Its a lot brighter at night than it is in the day!! I just need to lie a coat of clear coat to give the finish a shine! I'll post some pics of it on at night!

Your truck looks awesome . I was gonna go with a 1" but I may have to go with a 1.5", yours looks good with a 2"! How did you get your hitch to sit up tight against your bumper? Oh and how did you raise your front bumper?

Thanks! The rear bumper is not attached to the frame so the bumper went up with the lift. The front bumper came with some reloaction brackets thats really easy to install. This kit is really easy to install and is complete. Good Luck with yours!!

looks good man ... make sure you go back in about a month and recheck the bolts to make sure they're still tight

so do you have to use a Body Lift with the RB BJ spacers? Cause I'm trying to avoid a body lift if possible, but the spacers seem to be the best way to get 33's under my gen1 4Runner.

I was able to run 33x12.5's with just 1.5" BJ spacers without major rubbing, but I would rub on full lock and compression. I also wanted to be higher so I wouldn't be rubbing and hitting my fenders when I get air. Yea gotcha on checking out the bolts in about a month or 300 miles which ever comes first!

I've been wanting a locker for a while now and I decided to go with a Powertrax No-slip because My dad has one in his Tundra and it has good on/offroad manners.

Well, so I just got my No-slip in the mail today and before I made sure I had the right one, I took out my 3rd member and took out all the spider gears and when the No-slip parts didn't fit right I checked to make sure I had the right part# and it was wrong. They gave me the one for a Tundra/Tacoma rear diff! What a waste of time and energy!!! I should of checked if I had the right one first.
