i need springs...

my factory springs suck (duh) im sitting at about 4" lift in the rear right now and id like to stay there, ive been lookin at allpro springs but i dont know how much lift they give plus i would like to shop around and see what all is out there (hybrid leaf packs, leaf pack off other trucks) are there any other rear springs that you guys are running or have run before that you would recomend for me, i do carry loads in my junk so i least need somethin that can handle about 500lbs or so

One option is to call Alcan Spring (in Grand Junction CO) and tell them your vehicle weight, cargo and lift requirements. They'll build you a set of custom springs that meet your needs:

How about a Chevy conversion ? They give awesome flex.

problem with a chevy conversion is that 1) i would have to get new shocks, which i dont wanna do 2) too much lift, i simply dont want or need that much lift, especially since im only at about 3-3 1/2" up front and 63's would make me real ass high and i dont wanna raise the front accordingly

but i think i will call alcan

Actually the Chevy's alone only give you 3-4" of lift, mostly from moving the front mount forward, and therefore lower, on the frame.

You might also want to check out Marlin's new line of springs, or AOR's.

really? i thought i heard that they'll give like 7" or so, but i guess if you dont move the front hanger forward...interesting....thanks broderick
