If your wife/girlfriend is always getting mad at you for spending to much time in the garage, ask them to come take pics while you work. It'll make them feel like they are helping, if they want to help at all.

I totaly understand not wanting to pic up the digi cam with greasy hands, so I have my wife come take the pics. Just a thought.

^ that's a good idea, some gals might go for that. I've tried the old "Honey, we NEED to you pass out beers and make sure there is always a few cold ones" and for some reason that one never seems to work. That camera idea just might be the ticket
