no joke...and could somebody with a snorkled CARB take a pic of that...i know somebody has one..but i cant remember who..it would really help both the '86 and my '80...the '86 dies everytime it even goes in water pretty much...(sarcasm..it dies when i run through a mudhole at about 10mph...it floods like a bitch then..)..

Go to the home center and buy the following: ABS pipe in 6ft length 3" diam, ABS pipe in 2" diam 4ft length, ABS pipe fittings-90 and 45 degrees-you need a few of these in both the 2 and 3" diameter. ABS 3" to 2" reducer, and finally a snorkel head from 4x4 connection.

Lay it all out and figure out how to tube it all properly and voila..

I highly regret mine as an eyesore now..

With doind a snorkel set-up, What are you doing with all your other electrical items under the hood? Such as--> Plugs, wires, car, rotor, and any other electrical items.

Probably water getting into the distributor or other part of the ignition.

Do you have the rubber wheel well liners in place or are they missing?
