How to find local 4x4 group

Hello I am new to off-road life and am looking for a group to join where I can go off-road with others who have experience.

I realize this is not a tech question. Hopefully I can get a few good suggestions from the forum.

I appreciate the assistance.

check out the Ih8mud.com forums. its a worldwide, land cruiser based website so find your local chapter and go out for wings with them and go from there.

Seek out fellow Toyota people in your area and if need be start the group your self.

Maybe things have changed in the past I have found such groups more social doing every thing but going off road .

Then having places to go where you live makes a huge difference .

LOL!! Ain't that the truth.

I talk to ppl with built rigs. Too funny how many times I'll talk to someone with a built jeep on long arms that'll say " no, i don't want to break anything," I shake my head. Offroading has many different flavors, after a little experience you will be able to tell who are the ones enjoy similar wheel'n as you. And of course to recognize the mall crawlers.
