finial got all of the components for my set up.
-i got my neighbor to give me his air ride compressor. free so far
-i found the air tank at a illegal dump site when out hunting (those bastards). free but fabed up brackets and hit it with a coat of rustolium.
-all of the other stuff i got from home depot. about $15. ---50', 1/4" vinyl hose, fittings.
-switch, wire, connectors, zipties, and cut medflap squares (for in between the comp and fender well) i had lying around

no, it is a littler "bubble" for air. but i guess one could work?

Do you know any of the specs on your compressor? You should test it's fill time to 80 or 90 psi.

I like your hose set up. I've never seen that connector system, but our first Home Depot won't open until the end of the month

under the wire cover it said it was like a 150 or so psi cut out. it took like 15 min to get to 100 psi yesterday. i figure if i have a flat the one thing that i do have is time or if i notice a tire is getting low i will just turn it on while driving down the road. i will time it later. i did not get the hose connectors from the depot they were laying around they work lust like the comp fittings but without the nut. the first section of the hose to the T is the poly line and the rest is the vinyl. the comp got so warm that with the more pliable vinyl heated up and with the 100 psi behind it ballooned out and popped. the poly line disperses the heat and does not expand. the hose set up was very simple to install and no problems yet.

 

ok so i tested it today and it was a little bit slower than i thought for it to build up to 110 psi it was 23 min just on the batt. with the engine off. not the nascar of the air compressor world but i am happy with it i would be even happier if i dont have to use if you know what i mean.
