Front spacer install

I figured that I'd stop lurking and post a question. After a lot of years, i've come back around a decided to try a toyota again (this is number 4) I picked up a salvaged 04 Supercharged Tacoma. I knew when I bought it that its suspension had been thrashed.... so, I bought Northwest off roads "Luxury ride" suspension kit. I've got the rear leafs and shocks installed, and have moved onto the front. (I also bought new gabriel struts to add to the kit). Heres the issue - NWORs kit come with progressive springs and 3" of spacers to level the truck. I can't get the front struts in!!! The extra inches of spacer is keeping me from getting the bottom of the strut back in place. Any ideas? I'm absolutly desperate. Right about now I'd like to do something really vile to someone name Mcpherson with a strut...
Thanks!!
Rich

Use your OEM bottle jack on top of the upper arm and underneath the fender well to push it down...or you can get someone fat to sit on the lower arm or at least push down on it.

Worse comes to worse you can remove 4 bolts off the lower arm and let it droop and then put your strut in and then bolt it back up.

Thanks for the advice! Guess my friends aren't fat enough, but 2 come-alongs and a lot of sweat finally got them in place!
